Review of the Gritstone Trail Walking Package from Taylor Giacoma 2011
"What a great time we had on the lovely Gritstone walk!
I had never done a long distance walk so this was my first. The walk is very, very well planned and waymarked and that was helpful.
I liked how the walk was broken up, though the first day seemed a bit long, but manageable.
The Moorside Grange hotel was very nice, The restaurant was nice and the food was good, and it was nice to be 'on vacation' the night before we started walking, so we could unwind a little.
The Ryler Arms was absolutely fantastic. The room, the food, the service, the whole experience was perfect. The staff really couldn't have been nicer about welcoming us, accommodating us, making sure we were well fed and watered :-) I can't say enough good things about the place.
Graham was great. Quite a character, he is! He organized dinner for us across the road from his place and even had a word with the chef on our behalf. He was friendly as could be and really went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. I would gladly book with you guys again. What other walks do you have planned, can't wait"
