Fast-track to moving water with an experienced coach. We will start off by improving, coaching and teaching you basic flat-water skills on the River Mersey working on balance control and power turns. 

We then teach you how to enter and exit out of the flow (breaking in and out) and move the boat across the flow (ferry gliding) during a descent of the River Mersey. These basic white water skills will help you enjoy the bounces and splashes of the moving water! Once these basic skills have been mastered we will put them into practice on simple journey.

This course is the perfect way to learn the fundamental whitewater canoe skills.

Unless designated a Family Course, the minimum age for all the dates shown below is 14 years. All Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.

Families with children aged 8 years and upwards can join designated Family courses, or can book a course on any other date.
