Peak District Map and Compass Navigation Courses From The Experts

Peak Outdoor Training is a leading provider of navigation courses in the Peak District National Park. Our Navigation Courses and Bespoke Navigation Training Packages are suitable for all who wish to develop the essential map reading and compass skills required for mountain navigation and hill walking navigation.

Having completed both the bronze and silver NNAS courses I can recommend Peak Outdoor Training to anyone wishing to get a complete understanding of the countryside and how to find your way around it using a map and compass. Our staff are all qualified mountain leaders and are experienced outdoor professionals. We also offer personal national navigation award training and GPS navigation courses. Peak District navigation requires compass skills, map reading skills and our navigation training booklets are provided for free to ensure that the navigation skills you learn are not lost. During your navigation course, we will teach you compass skills and map reading skills progressively and patiently at your own pace, giving you plenty of time to consolidate each map reading skill. Our navigation courses are fun, informal and you will experience some great walking.



Peak Outdoor Training offer the Bronze National Navigation Award, Silver National Navigation Award, Gold National Navigation Award and Personal Navigation Training for families, groups, and individuals.
