Qualification Courses

Foundation Instructor Course

This 5 week course will give you a real taste of adventure. For those wanting a quick breakthrough to a career in the outdoors. Alternatively if you are an outdoor person looking for a summer of adventure, this offers a wide range of adventure activities with real learning outcomes.

The course is in the Peak District National Park. On our doorstep we have access to some of UK’s finest climbing, mountain biking, rivers and walking areas. It’s the perfect place to learn and develop your outdoor skills. Our team of highly experienced Instructors will ensure you have some great outdoor adventures.

All courses include risk management training and a module on the outdoor activity industry.

Training and Quality Mountain days counting towards the Summer Mountain Leader Award.

National Navigation Awards Bronze/Silver Level.

Rock Climbing Preparation for Single Pitch Award (SPA).

Canoeing British Canoe Union (BCU) 2 Star test + UKCC Level 1 Kayaking British Canoe Union (BCU) 2 Star test + UKCC Level 1.

Mountain Biking Preparation for the SMBLA - Trail Cycle Leader Award.

First Aid 2 Day Outdoor First Aid Award.
