Rock Climbing Courses

Peak Outdoor Training offer a full range of rock climbing courses in the Peak District National Park.

We specialise in rock climbing instruction, rock climbing holidays, rock climbing courses, and personal climbing coaching sessions ranging from a half day to 5 days in duration. We cater for all ages and abilities.

Rock Climbing courses are our speciality and our staff all hold the single pitch climbing instructor qualification and/or the mountain instructors award and are registered with AMI, the professional association for qualified climbing and mountaineering instructors.

Our instructors are all experienced climbers with a 100% safety record.

Climbing areas we cover include: Derbyshire Climbing, Staffordshire Climbing (Peak District Climbing), Yorkshire Rock Climbing, Lancashire Rock Climbing, North Wales Rock Climbing (Snowdonia) and English Lake District Rock Climbing (Cumbria).

We specialise in quality climbing instruction and base our success on our high instructor to client ratio.

A typical intermediate course is run over 2 days, during this period you will be introduced to the following:

▪ Bouldering
▪ Climbing techniques and coaching
▪ Using climbing equipment
