I did a one day Introductory course which taught me a number of skills and helped me to feel much more confident riding my bike. This was followed, two weeks later, by an advanced course which proved itself a perfect opportunity to further practice my skills and learn some more. Both days were highly enjoyable, the rides were nicely planned with a good balance between riding and stopping for exercises, and the instruction was top-class. I'm having a lot more fun on my bike after doing these two courses and I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

"What a great time we had on the lovely Gritstone walk!
I had never done a long distance walk so this was my first. The walk is very, very well planned and waymarked and that was helpful.
I liked how the walk was broken up, though the first day seemed a bit long, but manageable. The Moorside Grange hotel was very nice, The restaurant was nice and the food was good, and it was nice to be 'on vacation' the night before we started walking, so we could unwind a little.
The Ryler Arms was absolutely fantastic. The room, the food, the service, the whole experience was perfect. The staff really couldn't have been nicer about welcoming us, accommodating us, making sure we were well fed and watered :-) I can't say enough good things about the place.
Graham was great. Quite a character, he is! He organized dinner for us across the road from his place and even had a word with the chef on our behalf. He was friendly as could be and really went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. I would gladly book with you guys again. What other walks do you have planned, can't wait"

"I recently did the Beginners course for mountain biking, it was a great day out and I picked up some new skills as well as confidence to try some more challenging rides. A great way to make the most of the Peak District and I'd recommend this course to anyone who's recently taken up mountain biking. Thanks to Alan and Ian, cheers guys!"

"I had a great time on the beginners mountain bike course for women. It was tough but hasn't deterred me. Both Alan and Ian were very good instructors, not to mention very patient. The New Mills location was easy to get to on the train from Sheffield also. Well worth the money for a full day of instruction. Well done guys."
Having completed both the bronze and silver NNAS courses I can recommend Peak Outdoor Training to anyone wishing to get a complete understanding of the countryside and how to find your way around it using a map and compass. The instructors in both cases were excellent and encouraged you to think about what you were doing and why you were doing it. I have gained the confidence to plan routes and navigate myself out of any problems that I might encounter. My thanks to Alan Little and Andy McHugh for "opening my horizons".

Had a great time climbing, feeling pretty tired now, but will be coming back with a few friends from my gym real soon.
